Sutherland, a town in the Northern Cape province is known for having some of the clearest and darkest nights in the world, primarily due to its remote location as well as its altitude of 1,458m above sea level.

We will visit: 

>SA Large Telescope (SALT); a guided tour is pre-booked.
>Monuments / Louw Museum / Sutherland historical NG Kerk. 
>Stargazing with Jurg at Sterland. > Planetarium  > The graveyard
> Some good restaurants and> Experience the extreme cold and 
    maybe even some snow!
